“One of the best flutists of his generation, a bright star in the flute world”. That’s how Sir James Galway defines Andrea Oliva, First solo flute at Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia Orchestra. He’s already been effective member of Gustav Mahler’s Youth Orchestra, and after having attended von Karajan Academy, he was invited, only 23 years old, as First flute by the Berliner Philharmoniker under the direction of famous batons. He won Premio Kobe (first Italian flutist getting such award ), he’s a well appreciated Professor. He holds Advanced courses at Accademia S. Cecilia and at Imola’s Accademia Pianistica.
