Imola Post-Graduate CourseIMOLA POST-GRADUATE COURSE
This course is reserved for pianists who have already obtained the Imola Academy Diploma. Students of the Post-Graduate Course follow an individual study plan, which may include up to a maximum of 24 hours of lessons annually, to be defined at the time of registering. Admission on to the Post-Graduate is automatic when it follows directly on from Graduation, but will require an Admission Exam if more than two years have elapsed since the year of obtaining the Diploma. This Admission Exam requires at least three tutors on the Exam Panel, and a unanmous vote of approval.
- A recital programme of at least 60 minutes' duration.
ANNUAL VERIFICATION EXAM
- A recital programme of at least 60 minutes' duration, and a concerto for piano and orchestra.
A unanimous vote of approval is required by the Exam Panel for the student's being permitted to continue on the course.
The Post-Graduate Course may last a maximum of five years.
Repeating previously-performed pieces is not admissible except in the case of Diploma Exams, or the Exam to pass from the Plurennial to the Triennial Course. It is the responsibility of the relevant tutors to ensure that both the duration and the content of the programmes conform to the established rules.
